MEGADETH will headline Metalmania 2008
Saturday, 10 November 2007 The legendary US band MEGADETH will headline the 22nd edition of the Metalmania Festival. The biggest metal fest in Central-Eastern Europe will take place on the 8th of March 2008 at Spodek Hall in Katowice, Poland. As usual, there will be two stages where over 20 bands will perform for thousands of metal freaks!
The Metalmania Festival has a long and great history. Running for over 20 years, it has become the biggest and the most important metal festival in Poland. Its name is also very well known outside Poland and, every year, it brings more and more foreign visitors.
In January 2008 Metal Mind Productions will release "Metalmania 2007" - a live DVD featuring the footage from the 21st, particularly successful, edition of the festival. At that time, the main stage of the festival was honored by such metal stars as: Korpiklaani, Crystal Abyss, Darzamat, Zyklon, Vital Remains, Destrucion, Blaze Bayley, Sepultura and the American gods of thrash metal themselves: Testament. The release also includes an audio CD featuring a selection of songs by the bands that performed on the side stage of the festival (taken from their latest studio albums).
