9.4/10

Surprising new material, we recently have received from Inside Out records Angular Perceptions by Thought Chamber, a very respectable band formed by the well-know guitar player Michael Harris, we know his long path, excellent musician, he got some solo albums, his main characteristic is the originality, and Thought Chamber is not the exception; The front man is a top Vocalist, Ted Leonard, enchanting voice, but the way that he sings in this album is totally different at how he sings with Enchant, another Ted’s façade, Haji’s Kitchen musicians drummer Rob Stankiewicz, and the bass player Derek Blakley, great work in this album by these two musicians, they have participated in some other projects; The keyboardist is Bobby Williamson from the Texan band Outworld; Angular Perceptions contains ten songs, three instrumental themes, 56 minutes of progressive metal with different genres, this music is complex and indescribable, they play things only one time, and never repeat it again, there’s a lot of Michael’s solo albums music in this record, but in a progressive vain and with voice, great work, Ted’s voice is brilliant, he sings amazingly, is great that he sings in other band, all the vocalists must have a side band, Rob and Derek are talented musicians, great skills and coordination, Bobby keys work is good, but I likely if Michael and him incorporate keyboards orchestration in the music, it will be awesome.

The band consists of the following:

MICHAEL HARRIS/Guitarist
(ARCH RIVAL, SURGEON, THE MICHAEL HARRIS TRANZ-FUSION)

TED LEONARD/Vocalist
(ENCHANT)

DEREK BLAKLEY/Bassist
(HAJI'S KITCHEN)

ROB STANKIEWIECZ/Drums
(HAJI'S KITCHEN)

BOBBY WILLIAMSON/Keyboards
(OUTWORLD)
