Charlie Dominici (Former Dream Theater) launches a campaign to take his trilogy to the cinema.
Former Dream Theater vocalist Charlie Dominici has launched a Kickstarter fundraiser campaign to create a movie screenplay adaptation of the O3 Trilogy of his solo conceptual albums released on 2005, 2007 and 2008. To achieve the purpose of transform this epic progressive metal creation into a film Dominici counts with the collaboration of screenwriter and author David Sakmyster, and best-selling international author Steven Savile.
The current phase of this project is to fund the completion of the Screenplay, as well as some initial entries into screenplay contests and festivals, aiming to attract agents as well as production companies and other talent. If successful, the next phase will consist of further promotional materials including short trailers, movie posters and convention shows, building toward casting, funding and ultimately - production.
