Bauda is Cesar Marquez, an extremely talented multi instrumentalist from Santiago Chile. His music is Ethereal and serene, It makes you feel at one with the forest and surrounding landscapes. There are also some heavier tracks like "Trastornos" which has tremolo guitar, I think Cesar has been in a few Black metal bands in his time and you can hear small moments of that here but mostly what we have is a very relaxing ambient, World-Prog album, all instruments are played with a high level of skill,I think the Flute and Drums are done by guest musicians, the production is excellent aswell.

There are quite a few versatile one man bands out at the moment who are a cut above the rest in this sort of Genre, I'm thinking of bands like "Elfor" (although Elfor has vox) and Mark Mendieta from "Transcend With Time" Bauda is definately one of the best I have heard as I feel his passion for being immersed in worldly landscapes is second to none!! This album will appeal to all fans of Metal aswell as the more laid back listeners. I am so happy to have found another great artist on Myspace that I wouldn't have normally have found and I urge you to check it out aswell, I guarantee you will not be dissapointed.
