Now i know there are plenty of Koyaanisqatsy fans out there( From The Yearning To Burst The Perpetual Circle ) and I am probably the biggest. I adore that Classical bombastic approach to Instrumental albums and I think we have another band who could lay claim to that style and they are called Anachronos. 3 immensely talented musicians out of Chile have combined to make a musical masterpiece in my eyes.

The musical styles are wonderful and complex, Classical composers meets Dream Theater meets Koyaanisqatsy and Movie Score music and with Alexandro Torres's amazing guitar playing ( he really plays with tremendous feeling ) and Alonso Quijada sounding somewhat Goblinesque on the keys we have what I consider to be one of the finds of the last few years. One song even has a Sergi Leone Western feel. I can't praise this album high enough as to say all you Koyaanisqatsy fans start licking your lips and get yourself a copy, I am not sure if they are signed to a label yet? Check their Myspace anyway.
