Biography:

Formed at July of 1996 the mexican group Agorasaw the light taking the flag of the progressive Rock, one of the styles that has demanded the virtuosity of their interpreters from their coming in the 70's years. Thanks to this particular condition the panorama for the development of this current has been poor in Mexico opting juts only some ones to register in a movement whose roots are deeply ingrained in the environment of the European rock.

It is in this mark that Agora enters inside the scene of the Mexican rock with a spectacular proposal mixing the typical progressions that gave name to the style with Latin American rhythms and the neoclassicist, executing with neatness and virtuosity its original compositions. In contrary to the idea of the symphonic rock the musicians of Agora present an exquisite harmonic fabric that is in itself of an enormous complexity but that it is not distanced of the public being classified in the elite musicians.

Agora, been founded by the guitarists Manuel Vzquez, Alejandro Romero and the drumer Eduardo Carrillo was being nurtured with the time of the talents of other young musicians that soon conformed with its particular experiences and musical inclinations the distinctive stamp of the band. Hector Barragn extraordinary keyboard and the bassist Pablo Lonngi was added to the group granting him a more complete sound, although it is not but in 1998 when with the guitarist's entrance Sergio Aguilar is given had concluded the definitive alignment of the grouping of musicians, although it was a hole in the voice.

After to travel the majority ofthe underground circuit ofMexico city and to record their first Demo at the studiesDYNAMIC PRODUCTION low the direction of Jos Luis Gmez Grove, the band incorpored to the cast of artists of our record house ARGENTA RECORDS, independent stamp that looks for to complete the alternative and avant-garde dream inside the national rock Silvers.

At the beginning of the year 2000 Agora record their second Demo at CUSCO studies under the production of Javier "The Boy" Olmedo. It is in this Inter that Gilberto Castellanos substitution takes place for the extraordinary vocalist Eduardo Contreras possessor of a wide experience that incorporates after the perfect vocalist's intense search, besides having been rewarded in 1995 during the contest Young Values with its previous project.

Vertiginously they begin to already be happened the successes for the group to their definitive alignment being presented in the most important places of rock at Mexico city with international artists of the size of the Argentinean Rata Blanca, the Californians RadioKaos, the hispanics MedinaAzahara and the legendary german band Helloween among others, after having achieved with the merit own being approved in the selection process like the group of national rock with more quality to share the charts with the same stature that any foreign grouping.

It in this way were our independent record level ARGENTA deciderecord the first CD of Agora at the studies of ARTEK AUDIO under the direction of two of the best audio engineers in the country Too Ruz and Julin Velzquez. This disk reflects four intense years of trajectory and the exhaustive work of several months in the composition, selection and study recording, the participation of the talent and the tediousness of the engineers and of course the sensational execution and the musicians' of Agora master.
