Edenshade
is an excellent, powerful, technic and melodic Prog Metal band from Macerata,
Italy.
This
Album I’m about to review is called “The Lesson Betrayed” 2006 (Produced by
Stefano Wosz and Enrico Tiberi / Recorded, mixed and mastered by Enrico Tiberi
and Stefano Wosz at Lullaby Studio/ Artwork by Stefano Wosz.
I was
really shocked the first time I listen to this guys and this specific album.
They reminded my Mudvayne somtimes, and with another pasage reminds me Spastic
Inc for examlpe. Their music is very fluid and contagious, the keyboards
(Strings, piano and leads) are arranged properly, the unisons very well
constructed, man!! Powerful riffs created with sweetness and rage, with passion
and feeling. The vocal lines are amazing and sometimes groals your mind out
mixing some Italian phrases as well!!!. You’ll better listen to this guys
‘cause they’re progging, and doing it very well!!!
Talking
about production. I think that the mix
is great!! The drums are very clear and clean!!. The guitars and bass are very
powerful and sounding great!! This means a lot ‘cause this guys are doing their
stuff very damn good for being a completely “Indie” Prog Metal band!!! CONGRATS
TO STEFANO & ENRICO!!!
AND
GUYS….. JUST LISTEN!!!!!
YEAHH!!!!
Nowadays they’re promoting their recent EP called
“The Paper Days” (coming out on January 2009) and its available in all digital
stores.
Thank’s a lot and Stay Prog guys!!! LUIS SALINAS
